This vedio was so impressived. My mother's brother was died when he was 49 years old. His death was sudden and unexpected. My mother was kind of in a depressed situation. She had losed her weight so much. She couldn't sleep enough. Me and my sister and dad were trying to encourage her. I thought people who die for young age can influence many people. Many people can be shocked and depressed. But people's age can't decide on their own. Of course I will be dead eventually. But I can prevent early death. I will try not to smoke. I also can be careful not to drive violent. I've started to think about death since my mother's brother death.

News stories
The most interested story for me is science. Someday little robots will go through our blood streams fixing things. Soom science may not longer need us. I chose this story because this is amazing development. Health care has been highly developed. I found one interesting source. According to newsdesk.com, Japan’s population is shrinking and getting older.
According to a report by the Population Reference Bureau (PRB), 23 percent of Japan’s population was 65 years or older as of April 2010. Robots are seen as a potential solution to the population problem versus the politically sticky solution of allowing large numbers of foreign immigrants to fill much-needed health care positions and low-skill service-oriented roles.

"Quiet War"
I used to rebell against my parents when I was a high school student. I tried to ignore my parents. I also styaed my friend's house until midnight and come home late. I don't even know why rebelled against my parents. It was sort of adolescence.
But once got to the university, my behavior have completely changed. Because I knew my parents paid so much money for education in university. It cost so much money than I had imagined. Since then I have helped house work and have tried to study hard and attend classes. I realized that it's hard to make money by working part time job.
Internet
Surprisingly almost everyone has own computer today's life. Computers have made it easier for us to access a mass of information. They have also made it easier and cheaper to advertise our business. Also we can do business with anyone anywhere in the world. However, computers have also made it easier for criminals to steal our identity. Moreover children are more likely to sit in front of a computer and chat when they could easily speak with their friends on a telephone. There are good and bad points. Computer has been become our life easier and smaller.

Anthropologist, Wade Davis
It isn’t unusual to see people of all different races, ethnic backgrounds or cultural groups living in one society. Such a society is a mixture of different people now. Since they live in a society is influenced by many social factors. I think it is much easier for different ethnic groups to live peacefully in large cities than in small towns.
I visited in New York last year. New York is a not only large but also urban. However people live in harmony and respect for one another. I really surprised at this. There are still a lot of racial discrimination in Japan. We have to address in order to live in harmony. Moreover we have to respect one's identity.
Fitting In
Bullyig at school is quite becoming big issue in Japan. But teens tend to bully on the internet recently. It is called "cyberbullying". Children have killed each other and committed suicide after having involved in a cyberbullying.
My friend got an email which threatended him. It said that "you got to quit our school soon".
I totally surprised. I don't know why people sent him kind of that email. Then I resarched about cyber bullying.
When it comes to cyberbullying, they are often motivated by anger, revenge or frustration. Sometimes they do it just for fun or because they are bored and have too much time. Many do it for laughs or to get a reaction.Education can help considerably in preventing and dealing with the consequences of cyberbullying. At first, we have to begin an education campaign with the children. We need to teach them not to ignore the pain of others. In my opinion, our society is too stressful and it affects children.
We have to educate children that respect others and to take a stand against bullying.

Equality in the Home
In my opinion, Japanese people defenitely disagree with this idea. It is unaccetable to share house work.
Times are changing. Even so we are not used to divide housework duties. The women is suppoesed to do most of housework and childcare whether employed or not in Japan.
Both of my parents have job. My dad has two jobs so he works almost everyday. He has only couple of days off in a month. How could my parents divide house duties? Needless to say it's impossible. My mom hasn't complained about my dad that much. She says he earns money that's ok. In my family case, I really don't know how divide house work duties. But if I get married, I would discuss about it seriously. And I want to help my wife in the future.

J-Gender Issues
I've heard news that a woman forced to resigned her job. She was a bus guide. She had been worked so hard for a company for long years. But one day her boss told her that some clients complained about her work. So she had to resign. However it wasn't actually true. The truth is that no one complained about her work. One of clients was her friend. She called her friend to apologize.
But they haven't mentioned it to company about it. She came to know that it was company's scheme.
They had to reduce personnel to cut personal budget. As you can see women force to resign first in Japan. People usually think men have more responsibilities. But there are tend to increase many single mothers in Japan. We have to think about the situation in Japan.

J-Subcultures
I'm going to talk about AKB 48. The whole AKB team actually consists of 150 members, and not only here in Japan, but also in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The entire AKB 48 franchise includes some 150 girls, making them the largest pop group in the world. Its 48 members rotate in teams to perform live almost every night.
The man behind it all is Yasushi Akimoto. A respected music producer in Japan. He created the group in 2005 to make become stars out of ordinary girls.
The group has also gained significant attention around the world, from New York, to Moscow, to Paris.
None of the girls have strong personalities, but once they get together, they bring like chemical reactions. In other words, all the girls are quite ordinary, but when they get together they become extraordinary like super hero.
So I think people in the worlds are attracted by them. I was wondering they are just for nerds. But it had been changed. I'm not interested in AKB48 that much but I hope AKB48 will make foreigners to start interest in Japan. Moreover they come to visit in Japan to see AKB48.

My future
Actually I haven't decided my job yet. It has been held company a briefing session already. I went there to hear what kind of job I'm interested in. But I thought getting a job would be much harder than I imagine. Moreover I still don't know what kind job I want to do. I've wanted to work in the field of mass communication such as MBS, MTV. Because it seems very attracting job. Obviously it's popular job among our generation. I also would like to work in Toronto. I've been there twice and I really liked it. I know many places in Toronto pretty much. So employing the traveling company and guiding Japanese people would be great and exciting. I'd like to have family in the future. I'd love to marry by 30 years old and have a child. I have to think my future seriously for that. I've been taking TOEIC test every month since September. Because it's more opportunities to get job. I'm trying to get over 800 score. Job hunting has already started.

My neighborhood
Unfotunately my family don't have a good relationship with neighborhood. My family and neighbor are used to have a good relationship. I talked to them sometimes like say hi. But when I was 8 years old our relationship became worse. My family bought a BMW. I feel kind of embarassed because it's expensive. A few weeks later they bought a luxury car! I don't remember what exactly it was. One time we went to abroad as trip during summer vacation. A few weeks later they went to abroad as family trip. I thought they wanted to show that we are afforfable to do whatever you did. It's kind of funny. I think some neighbors tend to compare with their neighbors as a rival in Japan. I hope our family have a good relationship with neighborhood eventually.
Socialization
My parents used to strict with me. Especially they were strict to study. When I get bad grade at school they get so mad at me. They didn't let me go outside until finished my homework. I had to study so hard everyday until graduate elementary school since I was little kid. My parents also forced me to enter private school to get in Kwansei Gakuin junior high school. Because it's more opportunity to get job. I tried to study so hard. Fortunately I passed entrance test and I go to Kwansai Gakuin University now. I used to think my parents were annoying but I really appreciate how they brought me up. I would grow my children up as same way.

Compared with Esperanza
Compared with Esperanza, my childhood was so much better. Esperanza had moved a lot. And she had trouble with land lord. I have lived in my house since I was born. We have never moved. Because my dad has two jobs. He goes out to work during weekdays but he works in my house during weekend. In other words, we can't move. But I think it it very happy to stay same place. I didn't have any complaints about my house.
When I was staying in State, I lived with host family. My host mother got mad at me so easily. She was kind of annoying for me. Needless to say, I had to work a lot in the house. So I tried to stay out as much as possibe. It was bitter experience. But I realized how important my family and deeply appreciate them. I could imagine how difficut her childhood was.

Japanese Culture
For me the good points of Japanese culture is Japanese technology. Japanese technology is one of the greatest leading nations. Shinkansen is a typical Japanese technology. It comes on time. It has never late. In addition, we have toilet which is more advanced than toilets in other developed nations. On the other hand, Japanese people is very punctual. In Canada, people serve very slow in restaurant. Trains ofetn come late. In addition, no matter what Japanese workers have to obey companies once they get hired. There are good and bad aspects in Japan.
